How long do i have to go to school to be an ultra sound tech? and do i go to a college or a tech school?

Both, it is technically a two year program, but they require some pre-reqs that they often do not offer. Most of the time you will go to a local college and get these out of the way, they have regular students that do this and are used to it, then enroll in the program at the vocational school. But if you can find one of these programs at a community college you can do all of your coursework there. Depending on how high your math ACT is, you can generally get the pre-reqs dome in one semester, but sometimes it is two if your math was lower or if that school has more requirements.
