Hi, I took the AP computer science A exam as a freshman in high school and got my result. I got a 4. I am pretty disappointed since I really was expecting a 5. Also I want to major in computer science in college. I will apply to colleges like MIT, UC Berkeley, stanford, etc. How big of a deal (impact) does this 4 have on applications? Thanks.
I can only speak from the humanities side of things. I got mostly 4s on my AP tests (but As in the classes) and still ended up at Yale. Now, for the math/science side of things, the tests are a bit less subjective.
