Are there other countries where teachers get paid more than they do in the U.S.?

I think it depends on where in the US, but I believe we make more in Canada than you do in many parts of the States. With a masters now in my district, you max out (after ten years teaching experience) at almost 70,000. We also pay higher taxes, but free health care is included in that, so it works out very well for us.
