I want to go to uni to study Mental Health but i keep getting told about all the debts and that. is it worth it in the end? and is it a struggle financially when at uni? x
Yes its a struggle financially at university and yes the student debt is a pain in the *** at the end but honestly it is worth every penny!!!
You will have the time of your life - you dont know wot your missing out on. I know everybody says that but I really can not tell you enough just how much fun you can have not just gettin trashed all the time with parties etc (i mean ok yeah that does happen...alot but thats not the whole part of it) You'll be studying something you actually like (makes a change from school right?) you'll meet LOADS of people that have the same interests as you not to mention all the people that are completely different and bring something different to your life.
Money isn't THAT tight really. As long as your not stupid you'l be fine. All my flat mates have always got loads of food in the cupboard (alot of it is asda smart price or tescos value but at the end of the day its still food isn't it), we go out into town alot (not everyweek but then study gets in the way of that most of the time) and if we dont go into town then there is ALWAYS at least one party/kitchen rave/gathering of some sort that is going on. And lets not forget the independence that you gain. Honestly uni is amazing! never want it to end

University is defiantly worth it, it sets you up with the right skills and qualifications needed for your chosen career path. Even though sometimes you may not need those qualifications to get the job it defiantly helps to have them under your belt. :)
A university educated individual makes approximately $1 000 000 more over their lifetime than someone without one.
So unless you are planning to pay a million bucks for your schooling, its worth it.
It can be, but its worth it
try for a scholarship or financial aid of some kind, that helps a lot
:)
its worth it if you want the job from it, you have to pay uni fee's back if your earning over 15,000pounds i think it is so if your getting more than that you should be good to pay them back. If you spend all your money on alcohol then yes its probably a struggle if you go steady have fun but still take care with your money you should be fine, Ive never met a rich student put it that way. Unless you know mummy and daddy pay for everything, but you can always get a part time job to help you out.
I'd say its worth doing if that's what you want as a career, if its not the career you wont their is probably a different course that will suite you.
