What are some of the best jobs, that don't require university?
It depends on what you mean by best. There are many jobs that don't require college that pay very well, but there are reasons you might not like them. Air traffic controllers only need a high school diploma, and the pay can top 100,000 a year, the stress level is also very high. Police officers can start at 60 or 70,000 in big cities, but it can be hazardous of course. Sales is a field where you can make a lot of money and don't need university.
Then there are creative jobs like actor, singer, chef, musician, hairdresser, graphic artist. These jobs can be very fulfilling if you are talented and persistent, but you may need another job to support your art when you start out.
If you are good with technology you can get jobs in video game design without a college degree.
Some hospitals offer their own classes on certain jobs. For instance, Ball Hospital in Muncie had training for xray tech. Now, this has been a few years ago, but its worth looking into. At that time, you took the entrance test. The top 12 or so got into the program. They train you on the job at the hospital. Once you make it through the training you are hired at the hospital. I believe there may have also been a small fee for the program, but nothing compared to college fees.
any trade, maybe construction. a couple different office jobs, like receptionists. or u could open your own business.
